FATN Talking News is pleased to announce the release of WAR STORIES, a special edition of FATN’s Monthly Magazine to mark Remembrance Sunday 2026 – a collaboration with Dean Close School in Cheltenham, collated & read by their students and guided & recorded by us. Available now online at https://www.fatntalkingnews.org.uk/war-stories/ and https://www.deanclose.org.uk/. WAR STORIES includes a mix of prose and poetry with some original material dating back to the First and Second World Wars and an interview with a student from Ukraine around her experiences of the Russian invasion of her country.
Dean Close School, founded in 1886, is a leading all-through independent boarding and day school educating 950 girls and boys aged 2-18 in the heart of Cheltenham. They said “Thank you to the team at FATN Talking News for the special opportunity to collaborate and to contribute to these precious recordings” and from us to them “a big thank you to the staff and students of Dean Close for all their involvement and enthusiasm!”
